I want to personally thank each and every person who voted for this idea.

This is truly the greatest business intelligence community on the planet. As always, the passion and commitment of this community continues to impress and overwhelm me. Also, I will continue the memes on for as long as necessary until the issue is fixed or I run out of meme templates.Īgain, I cannot thank everyone enough for their support of my campaign to get more intuitive options in Power BI for measure totals in table and matrix visualizations. However, I already scheduled the February memes on Twitter so if you are addicted to the daily memes, you can find them under my account on Twitter for the next 28 days.

Thus, sadly, the memes have come to an end on LinkedIn. With that said, I did vow that if the idea reached the top 50 that I would end the meme campaign on LinkedIn and Twitter and I feel obligated to fulfill that promise.

And if not, at least we all got a few laughs out of it! It is a testament to this community that together we have been able to shine a glaring light on this issue and hopefully raise awareness of the urgency of fixing this issue within Microsoft in such a short amount of time. Now, to put that in perspective, when I started this meme campaign a little less than 4 months ago, that idea had a grand total of 27 votes. Friends, this is perhaps an abrupt end to the measure totals meme campaign, but after the ideas site for Power BI was down for about a week, it seemed to come back alive yesterday and when it did, the measure totals idea had reached #50 with 982 votes.
